WHY I STARTED THIS
I was 8 years old when my mom died of breast cancer. She was just 37.
Decades later, there are still moments when I wish I could call her, ask her advice, or share something about my life. Grief changes over time, but love doesn’t disappear.
We started Motherless Daughters of San Diego to create a space where women can remember their mothers and find connection with others who understand.
